Join us for our 19th Annual Drive-Thru Nativity to experience a Christmas journey you will never forget!
This event takes you all the way back to Bethlehem, from baby Jesus in the manger to the three wise men.
Invite your friends, bring your family, and join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, through this special event!
Check out these tips to enhance your Drive-Thru Nativity experience this weekend!
#1. Download the free Concordia app! The soundtrack will be available on the app so you can listen on your phone. Be sure to download the app before you arrive! If you don’t follow any other tip, this is the most important one!
#2. Come early! The crowds are always big, and we expect the same this year. Don't wait until the last minute. The event starts at 2pm and the entrance to Concordia will close at 5:30pm.
#3. ONE ENTRANCE ONLY: The only entrance onto campus this year is off the access road of 1604. Coming from the west? You will need to exit BLANCO (not HUEBNER) and do the turnaround at BLANCO to get in line for the Drive-Thru Nativity. You will NOT be able to exit Huebner to take the turnaround for the access road.
#4. Expect a bit of a wait - and lots of fun - while you're in line! But don't worry - we have lots of fun surprises to help you get into the Christmas spirit while you wait!
#5. We will provide the soundtrack for the Drive-Thru Nativity on a CD for you to use if needed (but we hope you'll use our app instead!). Please test your vehicle CD player (ahead of time). If you don't have a CD player, we will have one available for you to borrow.
#6. Make sure everyone uses the restroom before you leave your house. We will have restrooms available for emergencies, but it is a hassle to pull out of the line.
#7. Enjoy the Drive-Thru Nativity with friends. Invite your friends and family BEFORE you get here. (We will NOT have a place for you to all climb into one car together once you pull onto campus.)
We can't wait to see you!
