Lutheran Women in Mission

As Lutheran Women in Mission, we joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others.

The next meeting will be on Monday, November 10, in the Family Life Center from 6:30 to 8:15pm. A light dinner will be served.

September - October Service Project:  Donation of $10 for one personal hygiene kit for Lutheran World Relief:  Kit includes a towel, soap, comb, toothbrush, and nail clippers.

LWM membership will gather on Thursday, October 30, at 9:30am in the Family Life Center (FLC) to assemble kits.  Both kits and quilts (made by our quilting group of women) will be packed in boxes to prepare for shipment.

LWM membership will gather on Wednesday, November 5, at 9:00am in the FLC building to load boxes and transport them to Marion, Texas, where boxes will be picked up by a semi-trailer and taken to their destination in Maryland.

From September to December, we will be collecting Christian Christmas cards for our homebound ministry.

Ongoing Service Project for CAM Ministries:

We will continue to collect:

• New underwear and socks, 
• Used or new jeans and,
• Women’s, men’s, and children’s shoes 

Other LWM NEWS:

• Prayer Partner update for the 2025 year.  We hope you will choose to participate in this special prayer ministry. Connect with Elizabeth Gremmer at our meeting if you have any questions regarding a prayer partner.  
• Volunteer Opportunities for Fall 2025 will be shared, and you can sign up at the meeting to participate.
• We continue to collect Mites at every meeting.  Please pray that God would use our mites (pennies) to advance His Kingdom work through our LWML group

LWML continues collecting new or gently used books for the St. Paul Lutheran Church, where Pastor Murillo serves. St. Paul's has a library where they loan/give books to the neighborhood. Please bring any used/new books to the monthly meetings and we will get them to Pastor Murillo.
